Mikey Ancheta

Urban Arabians was founded by lifelong horseman Mikey Ancheta, whose passion for horses—especially the Arabian breed—has shaped every aspect of the program. With over 20 years of riding experience and more than a decade of running his own training program, Mikey has dedicated his career to developing both horses and riders to reach their full potential.

Throughout the years, Mikey has built a reputation for producing results while maintaining a strong commitment to horsemanship and sportsmanship. Many of his students and horses have gone on to earn National Championship titles, reflecting the dedication, discipline, and individualized training that Urban Arabians is known for. His approach focuses not only on winning in the show ring, but also on building confident riders and well-trained horses.

At the heart of Urban Arabians is Mikey’s deep appreciation for the Arabian horse and the community that surrounds it. He believes the Arabian breed represents elegance, intelligence, and versatility, and he takes pride in helping others experience the same passion that first inspired him. Through training, lessons, showing, and mentorship, Urban Arabians continues to contribute to and celebrate the vibrant Arabian horse community.
